Asylum seekers in Geneva are housed in underground fallout shelters dating back to the Cold War. Thinking they had reached the end of their journey, they find themselves under the ground. This short film is a sensorial first-person immersion into the suffocating experience of an underground shelter where asylum seekers are stowed upon their arrival in Geneva. It invites the viewer to live the anguish of a Sudanese journalist who recalls his underground life experience. The film is based on images taken by refugees with mobile phones.
