After five years of war in Syria, the remaining 350,000 citizens of Aleppo are preparing themselves for a siege. A volunteer rescue group called the "White Helmets" have chosen to stay in the city and help save their people. The founding members, Khalid, Subhi and Mahmoud are the first to enter bombed buildings, scouring through the rubble in search of bodies and signs of life. Should they stay and risk death, or should they try to leave and save their own families?
