What if the murder of tomorrow could be prevented today? Predicting a future crime and preventing a potential murder seems like science fiction, but it’s real and happening right now; powerful computers and omnipresent cameras do so by capturing, evaluating and analyzing (with the help of algorithms) data from multiple sources. Likewise, we, as citizens are transformed into carriers of recorded data with our every move, message and purchase that are tracked and mapped to calculate how likely we are to commit a crime. Computers can spit out lists of tomorrow ́s criminals, but what if it’s you who ends up on that list? What if the data is wrong?
