The 15th Verzió had nearly 10,000 visitors! After the Budapest edition the festival continued in other cities, where visitors had the chance to watch a selection of the best human rights documentaries: in Pécs, 15–18 November, at the Apolló Cinema; in Kecskemét, 17–18 November, at the Otthon Cinema; and in Szeged, 22–25 November, in the Grand Café Cinema and Megálló.
The 15th Verzió Film Festival ended in Budapest on 15 November. This year’s festival was once again hosted by: Toldi, Művész and Kino Café cinemas, as well as Blinken OSA Archive, Central European University and Trafó House of Contemporary Arts.
The human rights documentary film festival’s program consisted of 59 films from 35 countries. There was a great response with nearly 10,000 people visiting the festival, and a total of 42 sold-out screenings. There were 43 discussions followed the screenings, 30 Q&A’s with the artists, and 13 panel discussions with experts. 45 special guests from 20 different countries participated in the festival.
