It was the end of December, and the storm was raging. After three years, I returned to my parents’ home. I learned that several of our relatives had died in Gaza, including a 12-year-old girl. Every morning, my mother asks: How did they survive the night in the pouring rain? She asks me not to film the television and to delete the footage.
