Grand Prize / Film+Discussion
Where are we now, almost 3 years after the enactment of the propaganda law that shackles the representation of the LGBTQ community? What are the legal constraints and creative solutions to the bottleneck of discourse on the LGBTQ community in art in Hungary today?
With our invited guests, we will seek answers to the questions of the legal and social effects of the propaganda law, whether we can talk about censorship in Hungary, whether the phenomenon of self-censorship has already emerged, and what responsibility cultural mediators, artists, writers and film directors have to ensure that all Hungarian citizens have access to information about the LGBTQ community.
