Eszter Cseke

Bio: 

Eszter Cseke and her husband Andras S. Takács are award-winning Hungarian journalists and documentary filmmakers of On The Spot, Central Europe’s most acclaimed documentary series. With just two small broadcast cameras and no extra crew, Cseke and Takács have always gained unique perspectives in the most delicate environments. Each year, Cseke and Takács have focused on a new and compelling subject for the series, from living with ethnic tribes in Africa and Papua, being embedded with fighters in the Middle East, getting to know children of dictators or travelling the world and to examining birth in a myriad of cultures. Over the years, the program has garnered a great deal of international recognition. They received the Golden Nymph for Best Documentary at the 53rd Monte Carlo TV Festival, the Press Freedom Award in Strasbourg from the Council of Europe, the Prize for Best International Short Film at the American Documentary Film Festival and the Gold Plaque at the 50th Chicago International Film Festival Television Awards.

Paula Vaccaro

Bio: 

Paula Alvarez Vaccaro díjnyertes argentin újságíró, forgatókönyvíró, producer és vizuális művész, aki több mint 25 éves tapasztalattal rendelkezik a film, rádió, nyomtatott sajtó és a televíziózás területén. 2009-ben azzal a céllal alapította meg a Pinball London produkciós céget, hogy különböző műfajú nemzetközi történeteket hozzon közelebb a nézőkhöz gender, LMBT, emberi jogi, bevándorlással kapcsolatos, osztálydinamikai és a bolygónkat érintő kérdésekben. 2004 óta továbbképzést nyújt (pitching, filmgyártás, impact producing, gender, előítéletek) olyan nemzetközi szervezeteknek, mint a British Council, Eurimages, Circle Doc Accelerator, GoodPitch, ProPro Austria, Los Cabos FF, BAM Bogotá, UNAM Mexico, és Documentary Campus. A Pinball Londonhoz kapcsolódóan ő vezeti az impact producing konzultációra és stratégiára specializálódott Pinball Audiences-t is. Sundance-ösztöndíjasként tagja és mentora a European Women's Audiovisual Network (EWA) hálózatnak, valamint tagja a Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA) és a European Film Academy szövetségeknek, továbbá alelnöke a European Producers’ Club szervezetének.

Paula Vaccaro

Bio: 

Paula Alvarez Vaccaro (born in Argentina) is an award-winning journalist, scriptwriter, producer, and visual artist with over twenty-five years of experience working in film, radio, printed media, and TV. She founded production company Pinball London in 2009 to bring international stories in all genres focusing on storytelling about gender, LGBT, human rights, immigration, class dynamics, and our planet. Since 2004, she provides training on pitching, production, impact producing, gender and implicit bias for international organizations such as British Council, Eurimages, Circle Doc Accelerator, GoodPitch, ProPro Austria, Los Cabos FF, BAM Bogotá, UNAM Mexico, and Documentary Campus, among others. Within Pinball London, she also leads Pinball Audiences, to provide impact producing consultancy, and strategy. She is a Sundance Alumna, a mentor and member of the European Women's Audiovisual Network (EWA), a member of the the Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA), a member of the European Film Academy, and Vice-president of the European Producers’ Club.

Tamara Tatishvili

Bio: 

Tamara Tatishvili 2002 óta dolgozik az audiovizuális ágazatban. 2004-ben társalapítója és ügyvezető igazgatója lett az Independent Filmmakers’ Association – South Caucasus (IFA-SC) szervezetnek. 2008-ban és 2009-ben Londonban élt és a BOP Consulting cégnek dolgozott, ahol a kutatásért, stratégiáért, a kulturális tervezésért és értékelésért, a médiáért, a digitális iparért és az innovációért volt felelős. 2010 és 2013 között a Georgian National Film Center (GNFC) igazgatója volt. A European Cinema Support Fund – EURIMAGES, valamint a European Film Promotion (EFP) grúz megbízottja volt. 2014 óta a Cinema Backstage (Odessza Nemzetközi Filmfesztivál) számára magasrangú konferenciákat szervez, a bozari Bridges East of West Film Days-t konzultációs munkájával segíti, a European Women’s Audiovisual Networknél (EWA) pedig stratégiai menedzseri feladatokat lát el. 2020 februárján a MEDICI – Film Funding journey élére továbbképzési vezetőnek nevezték ki.

Tamara Tatishvili

Bio: 

Tamara Tatishvili has been working in the audiovisual sector since 2002. In 2004, she co- founded and served as executive director of the Independent Filmmakers’ Association – South Caucasus (IFA-SC). In 2008 and 2009, Tamara was based in London and worked for BOP Consulting, overseeing research, strategy, planning and evaluation for culture, media, digital industries and innovation. She was the director of the Georgian National Film Center (GNFC  from 2010 to 2013. She was acting as the Georgian representative to European Cinema Support Fund – EURIMAGES – as well as the Georgian representative in the European Film Promotion (EFP). Since 2014, she curates high-level conferences for Cinema Backstage (Odessa International Film Festival); consults Bridges East of West Film Days at Bozar and acts as strategy manager for European Women’s Audiovisual Network (EWA). Since February 2020 Tamara is appointed as Head of Training for MEDICI – Film Funding journey.

Varsányi Ferenc

Bio: 

Varsányi Ferenc számos díjat nyert 35 éves karrierje alatt, többek között egy Emmy-díjat a Fecsegő tipegők (Rugrats) első évadának rendezéséért. Magyarországon született és nevelkedett, az 1970-es évek második fele óta ír és rendez élőszereplős, animációs és vegyes műfajú filmeket. 2011 és 2019 között Varsányi volt az animációs bizottság elnöke az MTVA-nál. Jelenleg tanácsadóként dolgozik a Médiatanácsnál, illetve két bizottságban bizottsági elnök a Nemzeti Filmintézetnél. A MOME-n tanít, és íróként, rendezőként és koproducerként dolgozik saját projektjein.

Ferenc Varsányi

Bio: 

Ferenc Varsányi has won multiple awards over his 35-year career, including a daytime Emmy for directing the first season of Klasky Csupo’s Rugrats. Born and raised in Hungary, he has been writing and directing live action, animated, and mixed genre films since the late 1970’s. From 2011–2019, Varsányi was the president of the Animation Committee/Media Support and Asset Management Fund. He is currently an advisor for the Hungarian Media Council, and president of two committees of the National Film Institute. He also teaches at MOME University, and works as a screenwriter/film director and co-producer on his own projects.

Tue Steen Müller

Bio: 

Tue több mint 20 évig volt a Dán Filmtanács tagja, ahol dokumentumfilmekkel és rövidfilmekkel foglalkozott. Szakcikkei számos hazai és nemzetközi folyóiratban megjelentek, a Balticum Film és TV Fesztivál, a Filmkontakt Nord, a Documentary of the EU és az EDN társalapítója. Több mint 40 országban tartott már okumentumfilmes képzéseket és szemináriumokat. 1996-os alapításától az EDN igazgatója. 2006-tól szabadúszó konzulens és tanár, 2009-ig az IDF Ex Oriente Film programjának tanulmányi vezetője. A Baltic Sea Forum tanára, a Magnificent7, DocsBarcelona filmfesztiválok programtanácsadója. 2007 szeptemberétől az olasz Zelig Dokumentumfilm Iskola tanára. Munkáját számos díjjal jutalmazták.

Tue Steen Müller

Bio: 

Tue has worked with short and documentary films for over 20 years at the Danish Film Board. He has written articles for national and international newspapers and magazines, and co-founded Balticum Film and TV Festival, Filmkontakt Nord, Documentary of the EU and the European Documentary Network. Tue has given documentary courses and seminars in more than 40 countries. From its foundation in 1996, he served as the director of EDN. Since 2006, he has been a freelance consultant and teacher in Danish and European Documentary matters, and in 2009, became head of studies at IDF's Ex Oriente Film. Tue has taught at the Baltic Sea Forum and the Zelig Documentary Film School, Italy. He has been a program consultant for film festivals, such as Magnificent7, DocsBarcelona. His work has also earned him several awards.

Groó Diana

Bio: 

Groó Diana filmrendező, producer és a METU Mozgóképkultúra és Média Szakirányának vezetője. Társalapítója a Katapultfilm stúdiónak (2002), a Malcah Productions-nek (2011) és DunaDock dokumentumfilmes műhely és mesterkurzus-sorozatnak (2013). Bemutatkozó nagyjátékfilmje, a Csoda Krakkóban, lengyel-magyar együttműködésben, Krzysztof Zanussi koproducersége mellett valósult meg. Második nagyjátékfilmjét, a Vespát, díjazta az UNICEF. Az egyetlen fényképre épülő Regina (2013) című dokumentumfilm számos helyen vászonra került, többek közt az UNESCO Holokauszt Emléknapján (2014) és Kongresszusi Könyvtárban, valamint megőrzésre került a Yad Vashem Intézet vizuális központjának gyűjteményében. Groó Diana Előttem az élet című dokumentumfilmje elnyerte a 4. Verzió Nemzetközi Emberi Jogi Dokumentumfilm Fesztivál közönségdíját.
