Michaela Kirst worked for many years as a journalist in New York and has headed the Berlin office of Sagafilm since 2011. As a director and/or producer, she works on documentaries for TV and cinema. Her films Disgustingly Healthy, Crime Scene Rainforest and Brown Babies – Germany's Lost Children have won several awards.

Susanne Kovács

Bio: 

Susanne Kovács televíziós rendező a Dán Média- és Újságíróiskolából. Korábban Németországban képzőművészetet és történetmondást tanult, illetve filmkészítést az Európai Filmfőiskolán a dániai Ebeltoftban. Az Öröklött árnyaink első középhosszú dokumentumfilmje. A film részt vett a 2015-2016-os Twelve for the Future workshopon, és az IDFAcademy 2016-os workshopján.

Susanne Kovács

Bio: 

Susanne Kovács is a TV director from the Danish Media and Journalism School. She previously studied fine arts and narrative storytelling in Germany, and was trained in filmmaking at the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark. It Takes A Family is her first mid-length documentary, and was part of the Twelve for the Future Workshop in 2015-2016. Susanne participated in the IDFAcademy in 2016 with the film.

Adrian Cioflâncă

Bio: 

Adrian Cioflâncă történész, a romániai Wilhelm Filderman Zsidó Történelemkutató Központ igazgatója. 2005 óta tagja a Nemzetközi Holokauszt Emlékezési Szövetség román delegációjának. Több kötet társszerkesztője, tanulmányokat írt a Holokauszt és a szocializmus történetéről, a politikai erőszakról, kultúrtörténetről és történelemelméletről. Több filmben és színdarabban működött közre konzultánsként.

Adrian Cioflâncă

Bio: 

Adrian Cioflâncă is a historian and the director of the Wilhelm Filderman Center for the Study of Jewish History in Romania. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Romanian Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. He has co-edited volumes and authored papers in fields like the history of the Holocaust, history of communism, political violence, cultural history, and the theory of history. He has been a consultant on several movies and theatrical plays.

Radu Jude

Bio: 

Radu Jude (született 1977-ben) román filmrendező, forgatókönyvíró. A Bukaresti Egyetem média karán filmrendezésből diplomázott 2003-ban. Bio: 

Radu Jude (born in 1977) is a Romanian film director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Film Directing Department of the Media University of Bucharest in 2003. He has directed several short and feature-length fiction films, including The Tube with a Hat and The Happiest Girl in the World. His works have been showcased at festivals like Sundance, Berlinale, Thessaloniki, Sarajevo and London, and have received several prestigious awards, including the Hubert Bals grant, the CICAE prize at the Berlinale-Forum, the Silver Bear and the Crystal Globe. His first documentary film, The Dead Nation, came out in 2017.

Akshaya Sawant

Bio: 

Akshaya Sawant is a multimedia artist from Mumbai, India, who focuses on the human experience as knitted in the web of gender, culture and traditions. She has a bachelor's degree in fine arts, with a major in painting. She is a Dean's Fellow and received her MFA from Emerson College, Boston, in May 2019. Her first feature documentary, Talking To The Wind, received the Virgin Unite Social Impact Film Fund (2017, 2018), and won the Platinum Remi Award in the social/economic films category at the 53rd WorldFest Houston International Film Festival.
