The films in the Anthropocene Competition explore the urgent questions of the ecological crisis while asking how we relate to the living world and the environment around us. Moving beyond familiar human perspectives, they bring us closer to other forms of life, invisible processes, and scales that are difficult for us to perceive. Offering new ways of seeing a changing world, these films encourage us to think of ourselves not merely as observers, but as participants in shaping the world we live in.
