One may tell their own story without recognizing the forces that shaped it; elsewhere, a new generation uncovers a past silenced for decades. The films in this block expand the scope of facing the past from personal histories to family, community and social structures, showing how these spheres continually overlap. There is no natural order to this process, nor does it necessarily lead to resolution or reconciliation.
