The films of the TABOO section explore sensitive and complex subjects that are often difficult to talk about, from abortion and euthanasia to menopause and mental health conditions, as well as political issues that divide families. Through personal perspectives, these films challenge taboos, stereotypes, shame and fears without offering easy answers. Instead, they invite us to reflect on these important questions together in the discussions following the screenings.
