Bakpakk follows fourteen teenagers from Budapest over the course of a school year in a special class where, instead of traditional subjects, they focus on communication, collaboration, empathy, and their own personal histories. The film observes what happens to young people who have often been labelled as failing or problematic students by the education system when they finally receive attention and support. Kitti Fődi followed the class for nine months, and the film was made from nearly 140 hours of footage.
