Szabó Réka matematikát és informatikát tanult, de közben kortárs tánccal is foglalkozott. A Tünet Együttes nevű kortárs táncszínház művészeti vezetője. Két kísérleti rövidfilmje után A létezés eufóriája az első egész estés dokumentumfilmje.

Föld

Nicolaus Geyrhalter filmrendező, operatőr, forgatókönyvíró és producer. 22 évesen alapította meg saját produkciós vállalatát Nicolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion (NGF) néven, és azóta is számos díjnyertes dokumentumfilm, játékfilm, televíziós és mozis sorozat producere. Geyrhalter filmjeit a New York-i Modern Művészeti Múzeum dokumentumfilmhetein, illetve világszerte több fesztiválon is játszották.

Szél viszi

Bartha Máté budapesti fotóművész és dokumentumfilmes. Mesterdiplomát szerzett a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetemen és a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetemen. Legutóbbi, Kontakt című fotósorozatát 2018-ban Robert Capa-nagydíjjal jutalmazták.

A szabadság bolond körei

Dér András független film- és színházi rendező. Több dokumentumfimet, rövid- és nagyjátékfilmet és tévéfilmet rendezett. A Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem adjunktusa, filmkészítést tanít. Balázs Béla- és Ezüst Toll díjas.

Alla Zingara

Halász Glória Budapesten született, az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem film- és médiatudomány szakán végzett. Több egészestés dokumentumfilmet rendezett, amelyek rangos nemzetközi filmfesztiválokon nyertek díjat, köztük az ENSZ filmfesztiváljának (United Nations Association Film Festival, UNAFF) nagydíját az Egyesült Államokban. Emellett több videoklipet, reklámfilmet is készített.

Nagy Anikó Mária a budapesti Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetemen végzett adásrendező szakon. 2005 és 2007 között a FilmDok román-magyar dokumentumfilm fesztivál művészeti igazgatója volt. A Duna Televíziónál dolgozott rendezőként.

The Prison Chaplain

Ágota Varga has received the Balázs Béla Prize, the UNESCO Prize, the Tolerance Prize, the Prize of Film Critics, the Ember Judit Prize, and several awards at Hungarian and international film festivals and competitions. She has made over 100 documentaries, including several films focusing on unearthing the past, which have contributed to a movement that started in the 1980s.

The Pastor of Mandák House

Mária Takács is a freelance film-maker. Since graduating from the University of Theatre and Film Arts, she has worked as a director for Hungarian Television, and as a video journalist for Népszabadság online and origo.hu. She has also made a number of videos for civil society organizations.

Lili

Péter Hegedűs is an award-winning filmmaker and academic whose films have received critical acclaim and have been broadcast around the world. After establishing his production company, Soul Vision Films, he made Inheritance: A Fisherman’s Story, based on an ecological disaster in Hungary. The film was shortlisted for the 2003 Academy Awards. He is currently program director for the Master of Screen Production program at Griffith Film School, in Brisbane, Australia.

Above the Line

Anikó Mária Nagy graduated as a broadcast director from the University of Theatre and Film in Budapest, in 2004. She worked as an art director for Film.dok, a Hungarian-Romanian documentary film festival between 2005 and 2007, and has directed for Duna Television.
