The revolutionary Indianara fights for the survival of transgender people in Brazil, striving to put into practice her ideals. Facing the attacks of her political party and suffering the advance of totalitarianism, when the residents of her shelter are about to be evicted, she joins forces for a last act of resistance. Filmed in the run-up to the election of Brazil’s current president Jair Bolsonaro, this powerful observational documentary raises urgent questions about the imminent future of those living in the margins.
The screening is followed by a discussion in Hungarian with trans activists.
