We are looking for the newest team member of the Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival who can contribute to the growth of the Festival's audience with their strong online and interpersonal communication skills.
The 19th edition of Verzió Film Festival will take place 8–16 November 2022 in Budapest and in other major Hungarian cities, and online 14–20 November 2022 at festival.verzio.org. For more information on the festival, visit verzio.org. Verzio is an equal opportunity employer.
Project duration: 1st August - 31st December 2022
(in August 5-6 h/week, in September & December 10 h/week, in October and November 20 h/week)
Fee: net 600.000 HUF
Tasks:
- preparing and implementing the communication strategy of the Festival's social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) in line with the general communication plan, adapting the strategy if necessary
- developing an advertising strategy for the social media pages of the Festival and implementing the settings in practice
- content production: regular short posts and event descriptions + occasional basic photo editing, uploading photo albums and videos, creating stories in English and Hungarian
- preparing live check-ins on social media sites
- reacting to messages arriving to the social media pages
Expectations:
- up-to-date knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and YouTube advertising tools
- min. 2 years of relevant experience in managing social media platforms
- in addition to native Hungarian, excellent oral and written English
- creative, individual and subject-sensitive writing skills; respect for spelling rules
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills, proactivity
- regular communication with staff members
- openness and commitment to human rights
- ability to work responsibly, respect deadlines
- general knowledge of the relevant local and worldwide NGOs and film mediums
- advantage: degree in communication and media studies or marketing
