Diana Groó

Bio: 

Diana Groó is a film director, producer and head of the Film and Media Specialist Program at METU Budapest. She is the co-founder of Katapultfilm studio (2002), Malcah Productions (2011), and DunaDock documentary masterclasses and workshops (2013). Her debut feature film, A Miracle in Cracow, was a Polish-Hungarian co-production with Krzysztof Zanussi. Her second feature film, Vespa (2010), was awarded by UNICEF. Her documentary, Regina (2013), based on a single photograph was screened widely, including at the International Holocaust Remembrance Day at UNESCO (2014), the Library of Congress (2014), and was deposited in the Visual Center Collection at Yad Vashem. Diana’s documentary, What Lies Ahead, won the Audience Award at the 4th Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Budapest.

Zurbó Dorottya

Bio: 

Zurbó Dorottya az SZFE által indított DocNomads Nemzetközi Dokumentumfilm-rendező Mesterképzésen szerzett diplomát. Filmjeit számos hazai és nemzetközi fesztiválon bemutatták (Verzió, DocLisboa, ZagrebDox, One World, Astra, Jihlava IDFF). A monostor gyermekei (2017; társrendező) című egész estés dokumentumfilmje az IDFA Nemzetközi Dokumentumfilm Fesztivál elsőfilmes versenyszekciójában mutatkozott be. A Könnyű leckék (2018), ami egy szomáliai kamaszlány magyarországi beilleszkedéséről szól, az első önálló rendezői debütálása. A film 2019-ben elnyerte a Magyar Filmkritikusok Díját dokumentumfilm kategóriában, a ZagrebDox Fesztiválon pedig Movies that Matter Emberjogi Díjjal is kitüntették. Az SZFE DLA programjának hallgatója, és oktató az SZFE Dokumentumfilm-rendező és a DocNomads Mesterképzésekben.

Dorottya Zurbó

Bio: 

Dorottya Zurbó graduated from the DocNomads Joint Master Program, for which she was awarded a full Erasmus Mundus scholarship in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels. Her latest short documentary, Distance (2017), premiered at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. Her first feature-length documentary, The Next Guardian (2017, co-director), premiered at IDFA in the First Appearance Competition. Easy Lessons (2018) is her directorial debut. The film received the Hungarian Critics Award for Best Documentary in 2019, and the Movies that Matter Award at ZagrebDox for the best film promoting human rights. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, where she also teaches for the Documentary Film Directing Master and Docnomads Joint Master programs.

Hanka Kastelicova

Bio: 

Hanka Kastelicová az HBO Europe dokumentumfilmekért felelős alelnöke és vezető producere. A prágai irodában dolgozik szorosan együtt az HBO Europe produkciós központjaival, és felelős az HBO Europe dokumentumfilmjeinek fejlesztéséért és gyártásáért.  Az HBO Europe dokumentumfilmes programjainak megrendelője és társproducere, elsősorban egészestés produkciókat és olyan dokumentumfilm-sorozatokat készít, amelyek szoros kapcsolatban állnak azokkal az országokkal, ahol az HBO Europe sugározza műsorát.

Hanka Kastelicova

Bio: 

Hanka Kastelicová is the VP and  Executive Producer of Documentaries for HBO Europe. Based in the Prague office, she works closely with HBO Europe’s production centers and is responsible for the development and production of HBO Europe’s documentary films. She commissions and co-produces documentary programming for HBO Europe, focusing on feature length productions, and documentary series which should have a strong connection with the countries where HBO Europe broadcasts.

László Sára

Bio: 

László Sára a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetemen diplomázott filmrendezőként, valamint egy egyéves produceri tréninget is elvégzett a párizsi ESRA filmiskolában. A Campfilm produkciós cégnek társalapítója volt 2007-ben, azóta producerként dolgozik. A Campfilm produkciói társadalmi ügyekkel foglakoznak, miközben nagy hangsúlyt fektetnek a minőségi filmnyelvi megoldásokra. Filmjeik hazai és nemzetközi fesztiválokon is sikerrel szerepelnek. László Sára az Eurodoc, a Nipkow Programme, az EAVE és a DokIncubator alumnája, 2019-ben támogatást nyert a Sundance Intézettől. 2018-ban szerzett DLA fokozatot a Színház- és Filmművészeti Egyetemen.

Sára László

Bio: 

Sára László graduated from the film director’s faculty of the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, Hungary, and completed a one-year production training couse in the Parisian film school, ESRA. She co-founded Campfilm in 2007, and has worked as a producer, and occasionally, a co-author since. Campfilm productions address social issues and have a strong cinematic quality. They have participated and gained recognition at both national and international festivals. Sara is an alum of Eurodoc, the Nipkow Programme, EAVE and DokIncubator, and a 2019 Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee. In 2018, she defended her DLA dissertation at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest.

Atanas Georgiev

Bio: 

Atanas Georgiev a macedóniai Trice Films és a Film Trick egyik tulajdonosa. Rendezői és produceri debütálása, a Cash & Marry nemzetközi sikert aratott. Következő filmje, az Avec l'amour 2017-ben a HotDocs fesztiválon debütált, a 2019-es Mézkirálynő pedig három díjat hozott el a Sundance-ről, és két kategóriában (legjobb dokumentumfilm, legjobb nemzetközi film) is jelölték az Oscar-díjra 2020-ban.

Atanas Georgiev

Bio: 

Atanas Georgiev is one of the owners of Trice Films and Film Trick in Macedonia, subsidiaries of FX3X. His directorial and producing debut, Cash & Marry, has won recognition and many international awards. This was followed by Avec l’amour, a festival favorite in 2017, which premiered at HotDocs. In 2019, Honeyland was a triple winner at the Sundance Film Festival, and was nominated for 2 Academy Awards (Best Documentary and Best International Feature).
