Robertas Verba was a pioneer of Lithuanian poetic documentary, a chronicler of Lithuanian national revival, a director, cameraman and scriptwriter. He made over thirty documentaries and filmed hundreds of videos chronicling that historic period. He graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography as a cameraman. According to film critic Živilė Pipinytė, the films he made in 1965–1970 “shaped the genetic fund of Lithuanian documentary film – its stylistic features, the taste for metaphoric image as well as minimalism of a means of expression”.

Edmundas Zubavičius graduated from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow in 1977. 1977-1991 he wroked at the Lithuanian Film Studio. After the INdependence, he founded a TV film studio. He became the Head of the Lithuanian National Television in 1992. He made over 50 documentary films.

Tomislav Žaja is a producer, writer and director with 25 years of experience in film and television productions. Wrote, directed and produced about fifty documentaries, few shorts and experimental films, two TV adaptations of theatre plays and three fiction films. He is the managing director and founder of the production company, Gral Film. He is a member of the European Documentary Network.

Peiman Zekavat is a London-based filmmaker and cinematographer. Both his fictional films and observational documentaries focus on social and humanitarian issues. In 2016, he filmed and directed a documentary series about the environmental destruction of the Amazon rainforest. In 2018, Canon UK commissioned him to shoot a documentary series about the world’s first female-led expedition in the Amazon.
