In the Hungarian documentary action film Crips, we accompany four disabled people on a holiday at Lake Balaton. We find out how difficult it is for them and many other people in Hungary to organise such a weekend getaway. We get an insight into difficulties unknown to the majority of society, such as haggling with the MÁV about barrier-free travel, accessing shops and other services, or using the toilets in restaurants. However, it is not only the depressing conditions in Hungary that we are confronted with during the film. We get to know four humorous and inspiring people through their close friendship, while understanding rather than pity is at the heart of the story.
