Ezredes mama

Mama Colonel

Dieudo Hamadi was born in Kisangani (Democratic Republic of the Congo) in 1984, and studied medicine in 2005-2008. He then attended several documentary workshops. Hamadi is the author of two short documentaries, Ladies in Waiting and Zero Tolerance that caught the attention of festivals in Europe (Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam) and North America (Toronto). Ladies In Waiting received the Pierre and Yolande Perrault scholarship at Cinema du Réel (Paris) in 2009. In 2013, Atalaku, his first feature-length documentary about the 2011 election campaign in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, won the Joris Ivens award for best first film, Best Foreign Film at the San Diego Black Film Festival (USA), the Jury Prize at FIDADOC (Agadir, Morocco) and three other awards. In 2014, National Diploma received both the International Prize of the SCAM and the Potemkin award at Cinéma du Réel (France), and was selected at TIFF (Toronto) and nearly 60 festivals worldwide. In 2015, Mama Colonel, his latest film, received assistance in post-production from the Sundance Institute and IDFA Bertha Fund.

Rami Farah szír előadóművész és filmkészítő, 1980-ban született Damaszkuszban. Rami Farah is a Syrian performer and filmmaker born in Damascus in 1980. He first studied dance in Damascus at the High Institute for Dramatic Arts and attended many training courses and workshops in contemporary film and dance in France and Denmark. After graduating from the Arab Institute in 2007, Rami made a 35-minute documentary about the Golan Heights entitled Silence. Rami's first feature-length film, A Comedian in a Syrian Tragedy premiered at IDFA in 2019.

Sahra Mosawi-Mani is an award-winning documentary flmmaker, university lecturer and the founder of the Afghanistan Documentary House. She started working in media in 2001 with the goal of using media as a catalyst for good. She has got her Masters Degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the University of the Arts in London. She focuses on creating documentaries centered around her country of origin, Afghanistan, which lacks democracy and equality.

The Man Who Was Looking For His Son

Delphine Deloget is a French filmmaker and reporter. Her films No London Today and Under the Skin were selected and awarded in numerous festivals: ACID Cannes IFF, New York IFF, Visions du réel, and Doclisboa among others. She is the winner of the Albert Londres Prize, the Best Documentary Award at the New York Film Festival and the Scam's Work of the Year Award for Under the Skin (Voyage en barbarie, 2014). Her last short fiction, Tigre, won the Canal+ Prize in the National Competition at the Clermont-Ferrand ISFF 2019.
