A félelem kódja

Appolain Siewe kameruni születésű rendező, producer, forgatókönyvíró, újságíró. 1997-ben költözött Berlinbe, hogy forgatókönyvírást tanuljon. Részt vett különböző színházi csoportok munkájában többek között a Deutsches Theater munkájában is, ahol Oliver Reese és Jürgen Kruse is dolgozott. 2005 óta dolgozik független újságíróként. 2010-ben megalapította a dokumentumfilmekre szakosodott Einheit-Filmproduktion céget.

Code of Fear

Born in Cameroon in the 1970s, he came to Berlin in 1997 to study screenwriting. Participation in various theatre groups and at the Deutsches Theater, where he was able to improve his drama skills in 2003-2004 under the direction of Oliver Reese (then head dramaturge and now artistic director at the Berliner Ensemble) and director Jürgen Kruse. Print journalist, editorial assistant and assistant director for various TV & film productions. He has been working as a freelance video journalist since 2005. Founded Einheit-Filmproduktion in 2010, specialising in documentary films.

Kamay

A Kabulban született Ilyas Yourish 2011-ben kezdte multimédiás újságírói és televíziós műsorgyártói karrierjét, miközben a Kabuli Egyetem újságírói karára járt. 2018-ban Kamay Film néven olyan szervezetet alapított, amelynek célja, hogy az identitás, a trauma, a történelem és az emlékezet témáira összpontosító filmeket készítsen, különös tekintettel hazájára és annak népére. 2021-ben kénytelen volt Belgiumba menekülni, ahol azóta él és dolgozik. Kamay

Born and raised in Kabul, Ilyas Yourish began his career as a multimedia journalist and TV show producer in 2011, while studying at the Journalism Faculty of Kabul University. He founded Kamay Film in Afghanistan in 2018 with the goal of producing films centered on themes of identity, trauma, history, and memory, with a particular focus on his homeland and its people. In 2021, he was forced into exile to Belgium, where he has since lived and worked. His latest documentary Kamay (2024) premiered at Visions du Réel.

Ahol régen aludtunk

Matthäus Wörle újságírást tanult az Eichstätt-Ingolstadti Egyetemen, majd videós újságírói ösztöndíjat kapott a Mediaschool Bayerntől. Ezt követően dokumentumfilmes tanulmányokat folytatott a Müncheni Televíziós és Filmművészeti Egyetemen. Dolgozott a Süddeutsche Zeitung, a Bayerischer Rundfunk és a Nautilusfilm munkatársaként. Jelenleg szabadúszó rendező és videóriporter. Filmjeit számos németországi és nemzetközi filmfesztiválon vetítették.

Where We Used to Sleep

Matthäus Wörle studied journalism at the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and received a video journalism scholarship from the Mediaschool Bayern. After that, he studied documentary film at the University of Television and Film Munich. He has worked for Süddeutsche Zeitung, Bayerischer Rundfunk and Nautilusfilm. Now he is a freelance director and video journalist. His films have been screened and awarded at numerous national and international film festivals.

Ellopott bolygóm

Farahnaz Sharifi iráni író, rendező és vágó, jelenleg Németországban él. A teheráni Soore Egyetemen tanult filmművészetet, ezután számos nemzetközileg elismert rövid dokumentumfilmet rendezett. Dolgozott a Radiograph of a Family (2020) című filmen vágóként, a film az Amsterdami Nemzetközi Dokumentumfilm-fesztiválon megnyerte a legjobb vágásért kiosztott díjat. Bemutatkozó egész estés dokumentumfilmje az Ellopott bolygóm (2024). A filmet ő írta, rendezte, vágta és forgatta.

My Stolen Planet

Farahnaz Sharifi is an Iranian writer, director and editor, now based in Germany. She studied film at Soore University in Tehran and began her career directing a number of internationally acclaimed short documentaries. Her film Radiograph of a Family won the award for Best Editing at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam in 2020. She wrote, filmed, directed and edited her debut feature-length documentary Sayyareye dozdide shodeye man (2024) (My Stolen Planet).

A néma fák

Agnieszka Zwiefka díjnyertes filmrendező, akinek A csend királynője (2014) és Scars (2020) című filmjét is számos fesztiválon bemutatták. Zwiefka filmjei a dokumentumfilm és a fikció határán mozognak, ahol a valóság és a fantázia világa is megjelenik. Tagja az Európai Filmakadémiának. Elvégezte a Dok.Incubator, a Scriptteast, a Nipkow Programme és a Berlinale Talents képzéseit és részt vett Merly Steep és Nicole Kidman The Writers Lab programján is.

Silent Trees

Agnieszka Zwiefka is an award-winning filmmaker. Her films The Queen of Silence (2014) and Scars (2020) were screened at festivals worldwide. Zwiefka creates films that border between documentary and fiction, balancing reality and fantasy. She is a member of European Film Academy and alumna of workshops Dok.Incubator, ScripTeast, Nipkow Programme and Berlinale Talents as well as Meryl Streep’s and Nicole Kidman’s The Writers Lab.
