Rohingyák száműzetésben – Vándorlástörténet

Olivier Higgins és Mélanie Carrier a kanadai Québecben születtek, és eredeti szakmájukat tekintve biológusok. A filmezésre véletlenül, saját kalandjaik dokumentálása során találtak rá. 2007-ben rendezői és producerei voltak az Asiemut című dokumentumfilmnek, amely 8000 kilométeres kerékpárútjukat követte nyomon Mongóliától Indiáig. 2010-ben a rendező-producer páros megalapította a dokumentumfilmekre szakosodott MÖ FILMS független produkciós céget, amely korunk társadalmi kihívásainak megvitatásához kíván hozzájárulni. Legutóbbi filmjük, a Rohingyák száműzetésben – Vándorlásörténet a rohingya menekültválságot vizsgálja Bangladesben. A Québeci Szépművészeti Múzeumban számos más művésszel közösen multidiszciplináris kiállítást rendeztek.

Wandering, a Rohingya Story

Born in Québec City (Canada), Olivier Higgins and Mélanie Carrier are biologists by trade. They discovered video while documenting their numerous adventures. In 2007, they directed and produced the documentary film Asiemut, which chronicles their 8000 km cycling trip from Mongolia to India. In 2010, the director-producer couple founded MÖ FILMS, an independent production company devoted to documentary films, whose objective is to contribute to the debates and societal challenges of our times. Their latest documentary feature film, Wandering, a Rohingya Story examines the Rohingya refugee crisis in Bangladesh. Along with this film, they produced and designed a multidisciplinary exhibition, including the works of several artists, at the Quebec National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBAQ).

Erdők ideje

François-Xavier Drouet politológiát és antropológiát végzett. Rádióriporterként, illetve nyomtatott sajtónál dolgozott mielőtt a kreatív dokumentumfilmes mesterszakba kezdett volna Lussas-ban. Első filmje, a The Initiation bejárta a világot. Társírója volt a Gangster Project című filmnek.

The Time of Forests

François-Xavier Drouet gratuated in political sciences and anthropology, and worked as a reporter before pursuing a degree in creative documentary filmmaking at Lussas. He travelled the world with his first film, The Initiation and co-wrote Gangster Project.

Sugárzó sötétség

Rithy Panh kambodzsai dokumentumfilm-rendező és forgatókönyvíró, Phnompenben, Kambodzsában született, és a párizsi La Fémis egyetemen szerzett diplomát. Munkássága a kambodzsai Vörös Khmer diktatúrával foglalkozik. Rithy Panh az egyik alapítója a phnompeni Bophana Center audiovizuális központnak, melynek célja a kambodzsai filmörökség megőrzése és restaurálása.

Irradiated

Rithy Panh is a Cambodian documentary film director and screenwriter. He was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He graduated from the university known as La Fémis in Paris. His ouvre focuses on the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. Rithy Panh co-founded the Bophana Center in Phnom Penh, an audiovisual center focusing on restoring and protecting the Cambodian audiovisual heritage.

A belga dokumentumfilmes Daniel Lambo íróként kezdte a munkásságát, színházaknak, tévében és filmekben dolgozott. Rendezőként kezdett csak el érdeklődni a társadalmi témák iránt. Újszerű, ösztönös és elhivatott filmes munkájához saját produkciós irodát is indított Lambo Films néven.

Breathless

Daniel Lambo is a filmmaker from Belgium. He started his career as a writer for theater, television and cinema. As a director, Lambo shifted his attention towards social themes. His renewed approach to filmmaking—both intuitive and socially engaged—inspired him to start his own production company, Lambo Films.

Wagner és a paradicsomok

Marianna Economou antropológiát, sajtófotózást és filmgyártást tanult Londonban. 2000 óta rendez és gyárt dokumentumfilm-sorozatokat és független filmeket a BBC-vel, az ARTE-val és a YLE-val koprodukcióban.

Madame

Stéphane Riethauser Svájcban született, jelenleg Berlinben él és dolgozik dokumentumfilmesként. A Genfi Egyetemen jogot végzett. Tanárként, meleg aktivistaként, fényképészként, szerkesztőként, újságíróként és fordítóként is dolgozik. 2003 és 2008 között riporter és rendező volt a Svájci Rádió és Tévénél. 2007-ben hozta létre saját produkciós irodáját Lambda Prod. néven.
