Film director Zubavičius observes excercises testing the citizen reaction to a potential nuclear attack by a "foreign enemy". The protagonists of the film from a small village in Samogitia region participate in civil defense practice and prepare for a competition. But despite regular excercises, noone seems to take the danger seriously.

Edmundas Zubavičius graduated from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow in 1977. 1977-1991 he wroked at the Lithuanian Film Studio. After the INdependence, he founded a TV film studio. He became the Head of the Lithuanian National Television in 1992. He made over 50 documentary films.
