This early film by Edmundas Zubavičius focuses on a veterinary clinic in Kaunas. Observing its daily routine the film reveals the longing for human sympathy and creates a complex acustic soundscape which enhances the film's poetic visual language. Together, the image and sound invite the viewer to contemplate the relationship between nature and humans.

Edmundas Zubavičius graduated from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow in 1977. 1977-1991 he wroked at the Lithuanian Film Studio. After the INdependence, he founded a TV film studio. He became the Head of the Lithuanian National Television in 1992. He made over 50 documentary films.
