Zsófia Zurbó studied film studies at ELTE University, Budapest. She also studied at Charles University, and FAMU in Prague. She joined Éclipse Film in 2015 as a production manager and assistant producer, before becoming a junior producer. She has worked as a scriptwriter and head of research for AMC Network, and as scriptwriter and assistant director for Focusfox Studio. Since 2016, she has been the Hungarian coordinator of the alternative documentary distributor, KineDok, and is on the organizing team for the DunaDock masterclass series. She was the industry coordinator for Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in 2018.
