Team Apollo has brought some of the best Verzio films to Pécs since 2010. As the only art cinema in the region, we want to create a community space: a forum for free dialogue between social strata, cultures, and people. In our curatorial practice we put an emphasis on issues of otherness and living in minority communities. Verzio is one of our flagships; a peculiar celebration of human rights, equality, acceptance, and in the end, humanitarian love, which is always unusual, astonishing, touching – with true formative power.
