In the spirit of critical thinking and freedom of opinion, Student Verzió (Diák Verzió) invites high school students to free film screenings and discussions.
Venue: Művész Cinema (1066 Budapest, Teréz körút 30)
Screening times: November 7–9, 9am and 11am
There are five unique, contemporary documentaries to choose from this year. They cover a range of thought-provoking topics, including:
A Somali girl who escapes child marriage to become a refugee in Hungary, the dangerous health effects of working in Chinese mobile phone factories, a children’s choir in an Indian slum, European youth discovering their grandmothers’ past, and the world championships for international law students.
To apply for a free screening, send us an email with which film(s) you would like to view, when, and with how many students, by no later than October 23.
